Proud Mom. Small Business Owner. Community Advocate
STATE REPRESENTATIVE
OF DISTRICT 30
in lenexa and olathe
ENDORSEMENTS
THIS IS MY STORY
I am a wife, a mom of two great kids, a community advocate, and a small business owner. I have lived in Lenexa for over 20 years and attended the SMSD. Living in Lenexa for the majority of my life has given me a desire to work hard and to give back... and so now I plan to do just that by representing you in District 30 in Lenexa and Olathe.
As your State Representative, it has been an immense privilege to work for you --- my community. I will continue to plan to find common sense solutions to lower the cost of living, defend our freedoms, grow our economy and improve the future for our children right here in Johnson County.
As your state representative, I will continue to:
- pass legislation that supports small businesses and job creation
- work towards lowering the cost of living for Kansas families
- fight for our freedoms that have made Kansas great
- improve the future for our children by investing in quality education
WHAT I PLAN TO CHANGE
LOWER THE COST OF LIVING
We all know that the cost of living has been rising steadily for years, and it's only getting worse. In Kansas, we feel the pinch every day. That's why I'm committed to lowering the cost of living in our state. We need to start by making sure that our families can afford a roof over their heads and food on the table. That's why I'll be fighting for tax cuts for working families and businesses. I'll also be working to make sure that Kansas families have access to quality, affordable healthcare. By lowering the cost of living in Kansas, we can make our state a more attractive place to live and work, and we can attract new businesses and jobs. We need to put Kansas first, and that starts with making life more affordable for Kansas families.
SUPPORT
TERM LIMITS
Politics is broken because the people we elected to represent us have forgotten about the people they were elected to represent. I’ll support term limits and work to end sweetheart deals for career politicians that make them beholden to special interests and not us. I will work to clean up corruption that leave Kansas taxpayers footing the bill for unnecessary and wasteful spending.
IMPROVE THE FUTURE FOR OUR CHILDREN
I am running for office because I want to improve the future for our children in Kansas.. I will work to boost the economy and create jobs so that our kids can have a bright future here in Kansas. I will also work to improve our schools so that our children can get a quality education. That starts by removing politics from our classroom and focus on real academic success that empowers our kid’s future.
CUT TAXES FOR YOU
Inflation is biting us all and that government should help ease the pain --- not make it worse. I’ll cut taxes for working families where they need it the most - groceries, gas and property taxes. It’s time for political excuses to end and for us to get the job done. We have footed the bill for far too long.
GROW OUR ECONOMY
To grow our economy in Kansas, we need to cut taxes, reduce regulations, and get the government out of the way. We need to create an environment that is conducive to businesses and entrepreneurs, not one that stifles them. When businesses are free to innovate and grow, they create jobs and drive economic growth. That's how we'll get our economy back on track.
Abortion
The people of Kansas spoke and made clear their position. I am one of many Kansans who has never advocated for a complete ban on abortion and who strongly believes that we should work to advance policies which find broad consensus amongst Kansans. I will always support exceptions to accommodate heartbreaking and difficult situations such as rape, incest, and life of the mother. I am committed to ensuring women receive the emergency care they desperately need for ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages and other health complications. I will continue to protect IVF and birth control, which are currently protected in Kansas statute. My efforts going forward will be focused on support and resources for women and children.
